Native Trails RecommendsLet Majuli reveal itself slowly. Beyond its celebrated satras, make room for conversations with local artisans, a closer look at traditional weaving and pottery, and the quiet beauty of its riverine villages. These unhurried encounters often become the most meaningful part of an Assam journey.
Travel note: Safari experiences at Kaziranga are subject to park regulations, seasonal operations and availability. Majuli ferry schedules, river conditions and access to individual sites may affect the day's timings. The Sivasagar excursion and return to Guwahati should be planned with sufficient driving time.
